Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Progressive Care Unit Nights This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in a progressive care setting. The role involves utilizing specialized clinical knowledge and judgment to deliver safe, effective, and individualized care to adult patients across various medical and surgical units. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and ongoing patient education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a valid temporary/interim RN license or compact RN licensure for the state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months in an acute care area is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to adult care or critical care is advantageous.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Must be proficient in caring for cardiac, medical, orthopedic, and neuro patients, including monitoring telemetry strips. The position involves working every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. The role demands physical agility, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs, including lifting up to 75 pounds if necessary.
