About This Role We are seeking skilled Carpet Subcontractor Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow in the trade. As a Carpet Subcontractor Installer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including new construction and residential remodels. Our locations in Medina, North Olmsted, and Akron offer a range of experiences for installers. With a focus on teamwork and development, we provide training for those with no prior experience. This role offers a chance to start a career in flooring installation, with potential for advancement to a crew leader position. We operate on a Monday – Friday schedule. Compensation is based on experience. The opportunity to grow into a crew leader role is available. What You'll Do The carpet subcontractor installer will install carpet using stretch-in and glue-down methods to meet company standards. They will work accurately and with attention to detail when installing broadloom and carpet tiles. Installers will work on both new construction and residential remodel projects. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized job site, adhering to company standards. Safe work practices are paramount, and installers must ensure they work efficiently at all times. Installers work as part of a team, learning from experienced installers and supporting colleagues. Effective communication is key, and installers must communicate with project managers, team members, and clients. Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation and a set of basic tools are required; specialty tools can be provided or trained on as needed. Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site. Willingness to learn and motivated to grow in the trade. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
